We hope you have enjoyed the very first International Week on FR's Finest. Today's thread is beyond being "International". It is "Out of this World"....lol....

For Petunia7 - my comet picture.
Okay, so it's not exactly authentic - that's her forte.

In memory of my fellow Vietnam helicopter pilots who were killed in that war the following were lost on todays date. God bless them all.
1969 CPT Dwight J. Thornton -- B/101 AVN 101 ABN, Age 30, Albany, Georgia
1969 WO1 Milbert W. Hamilton -- B/101 AVN 101 ABN, Age 25, St Paul, Minnesota
In memory of CPT Thornton and WO1 Hamilton -- B/101 AVN 101 ABN "Kingsmen".
"A tribute to a fellow Kingsmen"
"I flew quite a bit with Dwight, or "Capt. Thumper", as he was known. We flew a lot of special missions together, and as a result, I got to know him quite well. When we flew the "FOB" or "CCN" missions, Capt. Thornton was always willing to go the distance to help the guys on the ground. As a Kingsmen, he gave eveything he had. As a Kingsmen, may we never forget what he gave."
Mike Grisey - A fellow Kingsmen

How y'all are?!? The chicken soup helped, but I'm still not 100% yet. [sigh]
My oldest ended up coming home from school early yesterday, throwing up all over the place. She seemed better this morning as she headed for the bus stop though. Which left She-who-must-be-obeyed. Rachel woke me up trying to cough up a lung at one point. She was busy apologizing - I told her not to worry about that, and asked her if I could get her something...
Ah, well, life in the big city.
This weekend should be something special. The baby's first birthday is tomorrow, and her brother gets to sing in some kind of have-to-do over at the Mable House. Of course, Sunday is football - always.
Be well, everyone!
