While not all evidence is in, it looks like the sniper was a Muslim. Huge surprise to some.

All the newsmedia talking heads and the "expert" profilers, have been saying the sniper was a white domestic right-wing domestic. Even as more evidence mounted that this could possibly be terrorism, the networks did all they could to steer clear of it.

Freepers have been saying this was Islamic terrorism since day one. I guess that makes the Freepers smarter than the people whose job it is to profile. But we're really not smarter we just have common sense, and we're not afraid to be un-PC. We are at war with Islam, and anybody who tries to pretend that we're not is a fool.

One of the anthrax mailings said something along the lines of "death to america, death to israel, allah is great". This led the experts to believe that this is a domestic right wing terrorist. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that just like in the sniper case, the "experts" are wrong. We're at war with Islam here people, wake up.

Personally, I think islamic terrorism is a far far more logical conclusion, given the facts.

There is such bigotry against White people in the media...it's like they hope its a "right-wing" White guy. That's just wrong. I don't care what the ethnicity of the culprit is, I just want them caught ASAP. It's a safety issue not a political issue.

But you're not simply downplaying the idea that he is a terrorist, you are downplaying the fact that he is at all Muslim, and a devout one, according to what's being reported. Face it, there is enough worldwide evidence to give considerable weight to Islamic anti-American hatred as motivation for this guy's actions.

Sure he's a criminal and he's wacked too. A person who can so coldly and methodically kill so many has got to be. But the fact that he is Muslim cannot be ignored because it certainly adds to the picture in a BIG way. It's part of the profile, whether you like it or not.

And technically, while he may not be an international one, he IS a terrorist. He led a 3 week terror campaign that shut down schools, affected local business revenue, caused major traffic snafus and caused thousands of people to change the way they live their every day lives out of FEAR. Sounds like terrorism to me.

There are in fact Christian Arabs in the middle east . . . and immigrants to America, from whatever locale, tend on average to be more Christian--and if Christian, more Protestant--than is typical of where they emmigrated from.
