this thread tells me that the chinese presence in our panama canal that Jimmy-i'm a commie at heart-Carter gave away - is being used for destabilization efforts throughout the continent.

On one hand, I'm afraid latin America is gonna get screwed up and we're going to have to go in there to try and fix it.

On the other hand, this means that my letters to Coast Guard personnel center requesting reactivation from retirement stand a better chance of being accepted (multilingual, spanish, portuguese, italian).
