Doesn't sound like a direct al Quaida link, but definitely ties to "Islam is a religion of peace".

Who'da thunk it!

Typical leftwing excuses now are 'poverty, pollution/kyoto, anything to throw off responsibility'. And the liberals will eat it up, bigtime.

Now we will see if there is an attempt to cover up the rest of the people involved in this caper. Scotland Yard targeted the Al Qaeda training camp in Alabama through an Al Qaeda prisoner that they hold in London. The camp is run by English citizens.

The FBI has said that they have to avoid panicing the public. The tendency to cover up this incident will be made in order to minimize the terrorism that the puiblic anticipates. It also will be used to mask the FBI being behind the curve on this cell of muslims.

Oh absolutely.. This will be off the radar screen real quick now that it's a black islamic guy. The media and feds need to work overtime, like after 9/11, to push the religion of peace message... We must be calm and patient, while being led to the slaughter it seems.

They just announced that the Tacoma bullets have been matched with the DC sniper bullets. Mohammad is the sniper. The night-mare is over!!!!

I hope so. The neighborhood in Tacoma - How can it be so bad that popping off very high pressure rounds like the .223 don't get the cops there in eight minutes?

...their own feelings against their native land in sympathy to Al Queda and from listening a little too closely to Calypso Louie.

What irritates the heck out of me is that apparently this Williams/Muhammed idiot was VERY vocal in his anti-American sentiment, converting to Islam 17 years ago...yet he stayed in the Army and even fought in the Persian Gulf in 1991. Doesn't the Army look closely at soldiers with weapons strapped to their back that proclaim they hate America? Or did the fact that he has "minority status" exclude him from scrutiny? Arrrrrrrgh!

And the notion that he was shooting at a stump in his teeny backyard in a very densely populated area ought to have had the police out there every single time he popped off a few rounds. What were these neighbors thinking? "I don't want to get involved"? There were warning signs for years about this guy.

Bet the shootings in Alabama weren't his first, by a long shot (no pun intended).

This article repeats the standard bullsh*t line that there is "no connection to Al Qaeda" according to "sources." See the 27 December, 2001, MSNBC article on "Camp Zero" in Alabama, that was set up as an Al Qaeda firing range, accoring to British sources on the fire-breathing Sheik in London.

Also, Muhammad has been to Afghanistan (presumably for the weather) and to the Shiek's London mosque (presumably for a refresher course in Islam). BETTER sources say that Muhammad is "mopped up" as they say in Jersey, or in tight with Al Qaeda to state it flat out.

Certainly, the connection with terrorism should be carefully examined. It is important to learn whether these attacks were self-motivated or actually directed by foreign terrorist organizations. The referenced link to the Million Man March should also be investigated. Perhaps Calypso Louie can be connected to this as well.

A Guard for the million-man-march?

Does that mean he's Fruit of Islam?

He was apparently dishonorably discharged from the Army. Do we know what that was for?

I haven't seen this. Are you speculating, or are there sources?

Quote from the article:

Several federal sources said Muhammad and Malvo may have been motivated by anti-American sentiments in the wake of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Both were known to speak sympathetically about the men who attacked the United States, the sources said.

I haven't heard any reports on why Muhammed left the Army, or under what circumstances.

"Dudley, a friend who lived a block from Muhammad in south Tacoma, said Muhammad once provided security in Washington, D.C., for the Million Man March."

Priceless. He must have been snoozing during the speeches discouraging black on black murder.

When we will be bringing in the (islamic) minister Farrakhan?

This is no doubt one of his peaceful disciples!

Hey, CB, is that info in one of the links you provided OR is it something picked up elsewhere? IN any case, would you provide the source. BTW, I believe you (I'm a fan of the famous CB). I just want the documentation BEFORE I go stark raving ballistic!

I'm wondering if he changed his name legally. If not, the media might become politally correct and shy away from his Muslim name.

I found this amusing.

He didn't become vocal until afer 9-11 (as I infer from news reports). The army is precluded by law not to discriminate on religious belief, only psychlogical or provable treason/sedition (the guy, John Allen Williams [mohhamad] kept his infidel-a-phobia well disguised until 9-11). Being a "minority" and attempting to enlist in the army is not grounds for denial of entry. And to your last question regarding his "stump" shooting in Tacoma, several people did report the noise to police who were, apparently, too busy with other duties to go to a poor neighbor with much history of gang activity and almost nightly reports of gunfire with no bodies lying around. It only came to light after the Feds, on a tip about Williams, focused on Tacoma and had the police trace his old address down and any reports of suspicious activity (gunshot reports).

...dishonorably discharged from the Army.

I'm sure more and more details will be emerging about Muhammed as reporters trip over themselves to get breaking news snippets first. I'm also interested in Congressman Billybob's tie-in of this guy to the Alabama Ground Zero USA training camp. (Didn't see it on your previously provided links, CB. Have you any info or links to that al Qaeda presence in Marion AL, or of Williams/Muhammed to Afghanistan? Or are they in the above three links in #28 and I just missed them?)
