I read it on one of the thread overnite. I guess I should
have qualified it as unconfirmed. Sorry. The statement was
that he got the training at Fort Lewis, near Tacoma.

I heard he was an engineer in the 84th ENG BN...which doesn't require sniper training...sounds like he got his *skills* in Bama at Ground Zero.
