For some time I have been saying (and getting flamed for saying it) that PROFILING DOESN'T WORK. The known terrorists that we have apprehended include a white American suburban guy, blacks, an Hispanic, a British white guy, and native born Americans of Yemeni descent. The only thing all these people have in common is that they are Muslims, and should anyone choose to not declare his religion and dress in Western garb THERE IS NO WAY TO SPOT THEM.

I have also been concerned that AQ has joined up with Black Muslims, gangs, and eco-terrorists/anarchists.

If there is a large contingent of Black Muslims involved in this type of activity, we are going to have eeven worse problems. I hope I am wrong.

I tend to agree with you Miss Marple .. and it's really scary if you think about all these groups

Black Muslims - as a "religion"- were not accepted by regular garden-variety Muslims because they believed that their founder, Elijah Muhammed, was a prophet. However, this little difficulty was apparently resolved a while back (I think Farrakhan was involved in that, but I wouldn't swear to it). So now Black Muslims are free to be just regular American-hating Muslims.

In any case, I hope you're wrong, too. But I doubt it.
