Like I said the other night, my wife could not care less about politics, daily events. Says she "has enough worries in her own life, so I don't need to worry about things around the world or county" or some such. I just don't get that philosophy. I love her dearly, but I don't like that bury your head in the sand notion. I am consumed with gaining knowledge of my world and surroundings.
So, finding like minded people on FR, especially ones who's spouses are like mine, is especially uplifting.
