yep....I've heard the old sneaker thing. I was thinking something similar, too....until this morning. It's probably still a drug thing....it's just odd. You can pretty much follow the teabagged signs to a major thoroughfare. After that strange, VERY out-of-place vehicle coming down our street....I just started wondering.....

That is interesting as their training manual calls for the use of "everyday" items to use as signals. ie position of blinds, etc. I will have to notice in some areas around this town and see what I see. :) Do you think they were used for directions, and where were they on the stop signs? I want to know what to look for.
