Just ducked back in - anyone heard about a "duck in a noose" explanation yet?E.D. says it is from an Indian folklore tale.

One of the ex-wives was interviewed by the Seattle Times... (it's back up at 380 or so)
To: mystery-ak
Fosx just said that the Caprice was noted leaving the Oct 3rd shooting.
To: blam
Hey, blam, I posted that story. So did several other people. Found it in good old google.

but since the bozo was going by the self-given name MohammedIn the Seattle Times they used the phrase "changed his name" (or words to that effect) last year, implying that he actually went to court and legally made the change.
But I've also noticed a bit of hedging in some news stories, implying that the name change was somehow coincident with with his conversion to the Religion Of Peace (tm), e.g., "last year."
Deeper into the stories, his second wife notes that he converted to Islam 17 years ago.

I wonder if they were sleeping at the rest stop to be close to another early morning HIT????

On Oct. 8th (the day after the shooting in Bowie), there were reports here on FR that the police were searching in the woods in Clinton, MD for a suspicious man who had been sighted. That was also the day (what time of day, I wonder?) when the Caprice was stopped by police in Baltimore.
WMAL: Caprice belongs to current girlfriend of Muhammad's. Girlfriend lives in Camden NJ.

I heard their tape deck was filled with Harry Belafonte songs.

It was nice not to wake up to helicopters during the night (Im a quarter mile from the Beltway). Me too but I woke to them and they are still going strong around here.
WMAL: Car is the girlfriend's. "Gun" found in car.

Wonder if they have attempted to get 'lawyered up'.
I want every "T" crossed in this case.

Have you heard yet if her white van is tied into this...? No, I haven't heard that yet. But commentators on WMAL are speculating.

You picked it up first last night?

The Seattle Times article seems to have a lot of details in it when noone knew who the two were till 10 PM last night. Just wondering if they had a heads-up or they typed real fast. That's an excellent observation. What time would that have been on the west coast? How late did they interview all those friends, neighbors, and classmates, as well as the ex-wife on the other side of the country?
To: Vinomori
What about Calypso Louie's music?
To: TexKat
Is this Muhammad guy the sniper?
