Glad to see they've been making some damn progress in this case.

Senator: There's a better link to the "Ground Zero" training camp in the FR archives than the report from PRAVDA. I recall that a UK newspaper did a much more in-depth write-up on it, and there was a direct warning from Scotland Yard.

Can you find it? I reached a dead end.

You're the FR Archive master.

This whole story just keeps getting stranger. This might be the first inklings of any visible ties with Al Queda to the sniper. At least that we have heard about.I'm wondering what other information will be released tonight as things progress in the investigation.

Rumors have been circulating for awhile about Marion's librarian. She's been known to keep company with those of questionable reputations and provide subversive literature to juveniles(Chaucer, Rabelais, Balzac). Late evening meetings at the library with men engaged in ritualistic dancing. Was thought to be a sadder but wiser girl. Possible connection to Gary, Indiana.

We've got trouble, right here in Alabama.

A liquor store was robbed in Marion, Alabama. Some one was murdered and a credit card stolen.

The sniper wanted the money transferred to that credit card number according to Fox News.

Seems like they are taking a cue from the Jihad in America map.

I presume the angry, loner, white male of profilers' lore is no longer the operant theory.

From the liquor store slaying in Alabama:

Police Seeking Blue Car and Suspect

Montgomery police say one driver may hold a crucial clue in the investigation of a double shooting that left one woman dead this past weekend.

A gunmen opened fire on two liquor store workers as they were closing up Saturday night. Police have released a sketch of what the killer looks like (see left). Officers say he was wearing khaki shorts and a teal-green shirt. Now police say, one motorist may have the key to bringing the alleged murderer to justice.

A black wreath hangs on the door at the liquor store on Zelda Road. The ABC-owned facility has closed indefinitely. ABC board administrator Randall Smith said, "We have had some robberies before, but I've been here for 21 years and this is the first time we've had someone seriously injured."

After 27 years on the job, 52-year-old Claudine Parker was killed. 24-year-old Kellie Adams was seriously hurt when the gunman opened fire in the parking lot around 7:30 p.m. The workers were outside the store and in the process of locking the door when the shootings occurred.

After the shooting, police say the suspect ran behind Krystal and Captain D's next door, hitting a moving car. They say he placed his hands on the hood. Police describe the car as a blue sedan and they're hoping the driver comes forward.

Next up: Gunsite, AZ. I thought it would be at least until Bush was out of office before the ATF and the "Patriot Act" were directed at lawfull gun owners and their training areas and gun ranges. But nope. It's going to happen under Bush himself. Isn't this lovely.

Camp "Ground Zero" used police cars and school buses for weapons training purposes.

Nothing to see here then I guess. Move along.
