Before I start reading this thread, I'll post what I just heard on Chris Core's WMAL show: duplex home being investigated at corner of Center and Proctor Streets in Tacoma, WA; former Ft. Lewis soldier used to live there; he used to practice firing into tree stumps in his yard; among things FBI took away was a tree stump.

I wonder if there's any connection with that Arab in Tacoma that was both a Naval Reservist and the head of a mosque that's been in custody for months on suspicion of his connections with people like the Ujaama brothers and the radical London imam Abu Hamza al-Masri. What was his name? Semi Osman, I think. I wonder if there's a connection.

Doesn't Tacoma have a criminal statute that its illegal to shoot a gun within city limits?

Wouldn't someone report him doing it?

That makes sense, but as someone else mentioned, how could he do that without the police being called out?

Originally I thought this was a terrorist or terrorists. Now I really don't think so. I think that it is domestic.

Really sad.

I do not understand why we have to know about this search, other searches, Moose's bowel movements and the stupidity surrounding our police (national and local). Why are we playing our hands like this.

Best case scenario, this guy now knows we are on to him and flee or kill himself. Worst case, this guy freaks and kills dozens in a rampage... or worse.

Why does this have to be played out like a mystery novel in front of our eyes. Why can't the police solve the damn case (covertly) and put in a freakin' movie of the week in a year. FOX, CNN, MSNBC can go to heck for all I care.

Stop the madness. Catch the guy and get it over with. I will be the first person to forget about Chef Moose (South Park reference).
