OK, is this new info regarding a credit card account from a NEW communication with the killer, or was it wrong what we read earlier, that he wanted the transfer to a domestic BANK account? Was it always to this stolen credit card account?

Does it seem to anyone else a little weird that a crazed sniper would also be involved in stolen credit card scams?

These terrorists sound like the same group that would go back to a rental car company and demand the return of their deposit on a truck they don't seem to have anymore. Couldn't be METs, they're much smarter than that.

LE should offer these guys a few hundred in cash to hold them over, until the big deal can be finished.

Not strange at all that the snipers would be linked to credit card theft. Fraudulent credit card use is actually a big source of funding for them.

Plus you have to bear in mind things like the fact that al Fuqra members in NY State work (well, the ones who are not out doing target practice) in the large credit card processing industry that exists in their area. I think - but I can't find any references now - that some al Fuqra members were busted for credit card fraud some months ago.

BTW, does anybody know if it's true that the snipers used Paypal? All you have to do to establish a basic PayPal account is have a valid e-mail address and a credit card to which money may be charged or deposited.
