All seems quiet since yesterday's news the shooter may target children specifically. It was released on various news outlets the shooter's 3-page letter to police was in broken English and threatened extreme violence. Police announced an electronic transfer of $10m as requested by the shooter was not possible but other options for transfer remain open. No one seriously believes police will actually give the shooter $$, but police are trying to keep a dialogue open with the shooter in an effort to capture this monster.

It's too early to say if this is anyway connected to AQ. but one of the problems is, at least as I see it, that there are so many different ME groups that want to harm us. Some may be linked to each other, some may not. How the hell can one tell?

We (again GO's), have been talking about the spread of anti-Americanism in the Middle East but at the same damned time, it's being spread right here in our own country.

At the local Community College, near where I live - on the left coast) they are allowing the Muslim Student Assoc. to use the campus to spread anti-Americanism. Right friggin here!

I think you may be on to something, alot of insignificant people of no particular talent....may look at what the so-called "simple terrorists" have accomplished and find inspiration. There have been some published reports by muslim groups that interest has grown in Qu'ran studies since 9-11. I recall that neo-nazi groups find negative PR very positive in terms of recruitment.
