Hi, kristinn,

Does this smell like the usual C-SPAN "balance" that they will broadcast the anti-American rally in full, twice, and use just excerpts from ours at some weird hour of the day (not live)? I know you cannot get an honest commitment from them, but do you have any clue whether they might actually take a crack at real "balance" this time?

C-SPAN does have two (count 'em, 2) channels that are not being used right now, Congress being out of session and whatall. They could broadcast both rallies, live.

Also, if you need a debater in any context who can make the anti-Americans wish they were never born, I volunteer for the task. It's a filthy job, but somebody's got to do it.

"They could broadcast both rallies, live."

You got that right, but they won't. It's a Brian Lamb thing, ya know.

They contacted me yesterday. I spoke with an assistant producer today. The ANSWER rally is the main event, so they should get live coverage. I'd be happy with a tape-delayed broadcast of our lil' ol' rally.

I need to call them with a rally program on Thursday so they can plan accordingly. We should have three solid hours, if not four, of speeches, songs and cheers they can broadcast. Our stage managers will just have some extra pressure on them to keep things snappy and on schedule.
