Yes. Make sure you learn how to use it and remember safety first !! Rule number 1: More people are killed by "unloaded" guns - the is NO SUCH THING as an "unloaded" gun. Always treat a gun as if it were loaded....even if it's "not loaded".....
We lived in Washington State when I was a 12 YO kid. I got a hunting license, but before I did I had to take a gun safety course. It was a 12 hour course. We spent 4 Saturdays x 3 hours to take that course. I've NEVER forgotten how important gun safety is since then !!
