"Until we seal the borders and get every single person accounted for..we are going to live like this daily."
And how do you propose we do that?

This screams of Al Qaeda Yes, and remember when they said the next attack would be in the heartland, and some theorized that was a metaphor for an attack on our children?
To: Republican Wildcat

Obviously that message is incredibly significant, but I think I found Moose's earlier address significant as well. While listening to Rush at lunch, he noted that Moose gave something of a rah rah speech, speaking of freedom and resilience. I found that part of his 12:00 PM update to be significant in that I think most folks would say city crime, i.e. murders, robberies, assaults, are terrible things but not threats to freedom unless crime just became out of control like on some weird futuristic movie.
Is it important that he made reference to freedom and our way of life as it pertains to the level of the threat. Seems to me a serial killer, while a terrible thing, would not necessarily be a threat to our way of life.
To: Republican Wildcat
He could have done that press conference via email.
To: Churchillspirit
I would not to subscibe to a paper whose employees threatened violence on each other.LOL!

Where is the "spy" plane? Is it patrolling? I thought it was supposed to detect muzzle flash and then we could nail this scum.

Did you even look at any of the many links to his resume and background freepers have dug up? This guy is a Janet Reno and Bill Lan Lee protege. In your eyes this is a good cop? Is there anything about his background that suggests he ever did anything worthwhile?Do you have links?

It's like a huge balloon that they want to let the air out of in several stages, to avoid the balloon flying out of control. If, probably, it is Alpha Tango, then they need to break it in phases, while they get positioned for protection of mosques to prevent hate crimes. People will not take too well to the Religion of Peace if this is tied to the effort by some to kill their little ones on their way to school.

I like your response much better as I "no hablar espaniol"!
To: Chad Fairbanks
the 'sniper' is going to prove that threat to be a reality... just watch...Bingo.
God help us.
To: LADY J
Moose is in over his head. The F.B.I. should take over this whole investigation. There are entirely too many "B" actors in this movie.
To: eastforker
I agree 100%
To: Republican Wildcat
"No kidding. That was a stupid press conference. Why in the world would he say something like that?"Just a guess but I'd say it's because his little puppet strings are being pulled...

I actually think you are on to something - perhaps the sniper's note (or call) indicated that they MUST relay that message about no safety for our kids
(what better way to incite fear than threaten the children?)
To: marajade
The Israelis sucessfully sealed their border with Gaza. Sealing our borders will cost billions, but dumbass ideas like the Drug War cost tens of billions. All we need to do is focus a little, and we won't even have to increase teh budget to do it.
