Sniper fear ...real or imagine? Input please on your own experiences.

Is the fear controlling your life or are you able to understand the odds?

Is the excessive media coverage helping or hurting?

Are the media accounts of fear accurate in your neighborhoods? Are stores empty? Are people staying in? Is Halloween moving indoors?

For the kids, our local HS has a safe Halloween every year. A can of food is the entry admission and the HS kids entertain the little ones. Still time to plan this in your local school. Since the stores are not selling their pumkins and candy you can probably get donations so every kid can get a free pumpkin and goodie bag. I hate to see the children have nothing to do on Halloween.

That's a great deal! I checked Orbitz this afternoon, and I'll check again in the morning for cheap fares. I probably would've done better if I decided to attend the Patriots Rally II about a month ago, but I'm an impulse type of traveler.

I live near, worked in, and go to Ashland frequently. Live closer to (have even recieved a ticket from LEO for illegal right turn on red) at the intersection where the perp allegedly used the pay phone and they took down the illegal aliens on Monday. I'm not scared and will go and come as I please. If I had kids, I would be more cautious though.

Not fear but concern. Kids playing soccer, sporting events, etc. I thought maybe this shooter was a terrorist but now I am not so sure. I am more convinced on a daily basis that Chief Moose is way over his head. I really do not know who is calling the shots but to have a note on Saturday that states that children are not safe, and not tell the general public until Tuesday, to me that is criminal. Also, now that they have read that portion of the note, why is not printed in the newspaper to see if anyone recognizes the writing. I do believe that Moose is an AA appointee and I seem to recall during the time of looking for a new chief in Mont. CO., the powers that be wanted a black. While people may disagree with me on this, the proper tone is to get on the tube and tell this shooter, we ain't paying you a effing dime. You keep shooting, will find you. We will continue looking for you and will run into the ground like a dog.
