Former NOW Press Secretary Proclaims In Washington Post Ad: ``There Is Freedom From Homosexuality''
COLORADO SPRINGS - U.S. Newswire - Today's edition of the Washington Post features a full-page ad recounting the journey of Amy Tracy, a former lesbian who worked as a press secretary at the Washington, D.C. headquarters of the National Organization for Women (NOW). Tracy, now a senior writer for Focus on the Family, details how she left her life as a feminist activist and a lesbian to pursue a relationship with Jesus Christ.
The ad centers around Focus on the Family's upcoming Love Won Out conference in Washington, D.C. on Nov. 2 at Immanuel Bible Church in Springfield, Va. Tracy will speak at the event, the 19th such conference the Christian ministry has held to address the causes and prevention of homosexuality.

Great post. Hope there's a lot of discussion here--too long has the left tried to deny a voice to this viewpoint.

Possibly, not sure though. I heard that NOW is contemplating a chain of drive through abortion clinincs called McBortionOnDemand.

That is a great question. I certainly don't know the answer. All I know is that I am celebrating what Christ is has done, is doing and will do in her life. I know I went through a process of conviction, brokenness, repentence and then the healing came in many areas of my life. I'm certainly glad I was around people who celebrated the transformations that were taking place as they happened, but didn't focus on the things God still needed to do in my life.
We are a wonderful group of people, but we can be so critical and cynical.

Yes, power to the sistahs!

Local pro-homosexual groups are expected to protest the Love Won Out event.
Their protest should be labelled "Hate is still great"

How about this for a t-shirt slogan:
HETEROPHOBES FEAR ME!
