Another Sniper

Early this morning a shot rang out across a Maryland suburban city. Aspen Hill, the area of Silver Springs to be exact. Another sniper has struck. The victim is a forty-year old suburban bus driver.

Doctors say he is in critical condition on the operating table at this time, however he couldn't give out any more information.

The bus driver was apparently boarding the bus on the top step to get into the driver's seat when he was shot.

There have been no eye-witnesses, however an Aspen Hill resident says she heard a gun shot.

"I heard a tremendous sound...a gun shot...this whole thing is terrible."

There were other shootings in the area non-sniper-related.

Sources speculate that the sniper is most likely "hiding in the wide open"

I wonder if the shooter (it's not a sniper, just a murderer) waited for the customary white panel truck to come by before taking the shot?

Oh yeah, Sources say that they're unsure of whether he was boarding the bus or merely standing on the steps.

I lived right across the street from the site. This shooting is different from others. It's a good half mile from a major intersection, literally the end of the line of the bus route. The guy was all alone-no one else around except in the apts across the street. Whoever did it had to have pretty good knowledge of this specific area and was targeting this driver. Very different MO, seems to me.

Murderer, terrorist whatever, the press and media are such children and like children they are inadvertently thwarting the efforts of the police with their constant analyses and hypothetical attempts filling the news hours. Like Moussoui, this killer is thumbing his nose at the lawmen and the media is providing fresh ideas for this terrorist at every turn. Maybe the smoke and mirrors will provide a cover for our war on terrorism and at least we can get something done with that without the nosy press .

All citizens in Washington and MD should arm themselves and look for a nicely dressed man wandering around the woods. Lock and Load!
