I am praying that parents here will wake up to the current necessity.

This spree is likely the least reason to do so in this (DC)area. This is merely another, perhaps more immediate reason to do so. It is the reason why this family does that no matter where they live.

I agree with you re home schooling in most school districts in America.

However, if my children were in reasonably good schools in the DC urban area, had good teachers, were learning and liked it, after those threats, they would be home schooled.
