I wouldn't disagree. But they need a "press office" "public relations" type of guy. Someone who is articulate, sharp, strong, non emotional, professional type to lead these press conferences. The investigators can tell him what needs to be said, and leave it at that. He can field questions regarding areas that he spoke to give clarification. But don't tell him more than he needs to know to make the statement. These open-ended press conferences are just making them look stupid. And really, rule number 1... If you don't have anything instructive/constructive/necessary to say, then keep your mouths shut. Don't hold press conferences.

Absolutely. With some justification Moose has become a lightening rod and even though hundreds of LEOs are part of the investigation our frustrations are all centered on Moose. They need to take charge of the public information instead of letting the sniper control it. Hire a pro. Not someone from the ranks but a real spokespeson accustomed to handling the press.
