Dick Morris Predicts Demmycrats Will Win Both Houses
Fox News | October 21, 2002 | PJ-Comix

Posted on 10/21/2002 7:07:05 PM PDT by PJ-Comix

I just saw Dick Morris on Hannity & Colmes predict that as of right now it looks like the Demmycrats will win both Houses of Congress. In a way this sure gives vindication to my nightmare. In another thread I predicted that if Douglas Forrester loses NJ then the Demmycrats will retain control of the Senate. However, if Forrester wins in NJ then the Republicans will pick up 3 seats in the Senate. Don't ask me how I know but I know. This is all part of my NIGHTLY nightmare which involves me SCREAMING at Douglas Forrester to pick up the phone and call Howard Stern to gain his endorsement. In my nightmare, Forrester is always about to make that all-important phone call but then backs out as I wake up screaming (as I do every morning): "DOUG---CALL HOWARD!!!"

Well, I'm feeling better about things now. Morris has a good track record as a contra-indicator.

Dick Morris is a jerk. Do any of you remember his "fifth column" article? You know what a "fifth column" is don't you? He basically thinks conservatives are so stupid and easily lied too that he stuck it in our face. He does a lot of that "triangulation" lying that he used to get beelzebubba re-elected. Basically, he pretends to have some conservative leanings, then bow! he shoots us in the back. He is in the same category as Whoraldo.

Which is the surest sign yet that the Republicans will keep the House and take back the Senate. Dick Morris is consistently wrong about things.

All Forrester has to do is something like promise to name a Toxic Waste Site after Howard Stern. In a weird way this would satisfy both the Howard Haters and the Howard fans who would actually like that idea. However, bottom line is that a mere 10 minute phone call to Howard Stern would guarantee Douglas Forrester a MINIMUM of an extra 100,000 votes. Remember, George Pataki was DOWN 20 points a week before the 1994 election and a week later won by 6 points due to Howard's endorsement. This is a NO-BRAINER.

Please call Howard, Doug. Not only would my nightmares stop but you would win the election and allow the Republicans to regain control of the Senate. Whenever I have a vivid recurring nightmare (or dream) there is something more to it than mere nocturnal etherea.

Don't forget that this is the same Dick Morris who missed it so badly in his prediction of the 2002 Presidential election. If anything, this makes me feel better about the GOP's chances.

Isn't this the same guy who predicted that Hillary would never run for the Senate, and if she did, she'd never win?

hehe, good point... Dick Morris has a HORRIBLE track record as a pundit, but he's still damn entertaining to watch and I like to hear what he has to say.

Didn't Morris say that Bush would win the popular vote but lose the electoral college?

you are soooooo right. he basically needs to call in tell the audience he's a real guy with a sense of humor and not some right-wing nut like the Dems like to portray.

The consensus on the McLaughlin Group was that there's be a net 2-pickup by Repubs, who would then control both houses.
