If I were the shooter I'd suspect a set-up and not call back.

Police release two in custody That's a little misleading, the story says they were't released, but rather transferred to immigration authorities. That's the next thing to being released, but not quite the same thing.

This Moose is trying so hard... but he seems so out of his depth... and no I am not implying anything pertaining to race. A white Local Yokal would look like a Moose... er deer caught in headlights too.

Great. So we go from "police confident they have sniper in custody" as reported earlier today, to "men in custody not sniper but related" as reported later on, to "two illegals in the wrong place at the wrong time."
In other words, "we have no idea what we are doing, resume ducking and hiding."
And FReepers, resume praying.

Look at all three of these together. It seems he is communicating with someone whose first language is not english or someone intelligent impaired.
"To the person who left us a message at the Ponderosa last night: You gave us a telephone number. We do want to talk to you. Call us at the number you provided."
"We are going to respond to a message that we have received. We will respond later. We are preparing our response at this time."
"The person you called could not hear everything that you said. The audio was unclear and we want to get it right. Call us back so we can clearly understand,"

What made the two suspects in the first place? Was it someone calling the van in, scared thinking it was the sniper?

This is what happens when the liberal mindset enters law enforcement. Just put the damn cameras and mikes away untill someone is in jail with a pile of evedence on top of them. Then hold a press confernce.

I gotta say it again......If I lived in this area and had a white van, I'd park it or paint it. It just don't pay to drive white or cream colored vans.

"we have no idea what we are doing, resume ducking and hiding." Ducking, hiding and zigzagging. There was a time when darkness brought some refuge until one of the pundits suggested he should have night vision glasses. These folks just keep helping him improve his techniques.

Keystone cops bungle audio from sniper call.Oh, no. It's part of a master plan to catch the culprits. Someone will be along shortly to explain it.

Maybe the caller is speaking in Pashtun... it only took the CIA 6 months to find a translator for that sweet symphony of a language.
To: blam
How come the LE thought the snipper was dumb enough to call back on that payphone?
If he did, he would have made the list of the top 10 stupid mistakes criminals do to get caught.

Maybe the problem is that the sniper speaks perfect English and doesn't understand the Mooseisms!

Is this the party to whom I am speaking?
