He didn't answer a single question posed to him during the 4:15 est conference. He took lessons from Janet Reno

Here is the gist of the latest press conference:
"It would be inappropriate for me to provide an answer to that question."

I assume that you wouldn't think it wise for EVERYONE to look out just for themselves and stay at home, perhaps it might behoove us all if a few Americans bravely went about their daily lives so that we can all eat despite one guy with a .223. Maybe all those who currently live in the area can stay at home, and all the "patriotic" Americans who bitch about it can catch a bus and take their places at the gas stations. There. Problem solved.

Why does he even bother to take questions
to keep the shooter happy? When he stated no briefs until monday look what happened on sat.

Basically the only thing of substance from the news conference was another msg for the "person who called earlier" (who may or may not be the sniper--Moose won't say). Moose said call back--the person you talked to couldn't understand everything you said--the audio was not good. (They probably forgot to record the call and put a trace on and want to have another go at it). Then he took questions and provided no answers.

Moose "sent" another message....something like.....
"Please call back, there was static on the line & your message was not clear".....told media to again play
this message often.....

I'm sure this guy will call back... after the next victim. With all due respect Chief, this guy's smarter than that. They'd better get their act together. Bad line?, yeah right...

If three verticle stripes, and it is red, white, green, could only be Mexico or Italy, to my knowledge. And Ireland.

Whether on the phone or off, the sniper seems to be in total control.
. . .and most likely he has told C.M. to say nothing. . .
. . .in the meantime, who's on First?

. . . am wondering and concerned about the Marine's Marathon that is to be run in DC this coming weekend. . .The quickest way for that shooter(s) to get seriously dead would be to attack the Marine Corps, even if they were unarmed marathon-running Marines...
On the other hand, I do hope that they have firefinder radars set up along the marathon route.

You may have nailed what happened.
Out here on the West Coast, the illegals will print up a flyer that they will do yard work/house work or what ever and have little tags below the flyer with their phone # on each tear off tag.
Then, they post copies of the flyer on any bulletin board they can find.
If they did that back there, the sniper tears off one of the tags with their number. Then he calls them on a pay phone and the rest goes as per your script!
Excellent thought process on your part!
Speculation:
These two guys have nothing to do with the sniping.
They are day laborers, or small time contractors.
They run an ad somewhere.
Sniper contacts them and tells them he has work for them at that school.
They show up at school, but nobody there.
Sniper has given them number to contact him at.
That number is the number Moose made reference to.
One of the two goes to a phone booth to call that number, while other waits at school, in case anyone shows up.
Police move in as soon as number is called.
Sniper laughs.

You are avoiding my question by responding with an absurd personal attack. How about answering the question logically rather than emotionally.

Bad line?, yeah right...This so lame. But it's standard procedure. They cannot give in to blackmail, so the policy in these cases is to stretch out the "negotiations."
If the sniper did call, he won't call back. He'll just kill someone.

The van pounced on this morning is in my neighborhood. It is also near my daughter's home (Short Pump), and she was terrified. Everything has been canceled -- school, her nanny, her piano students, etc. She and my grandchildren were in Ashland on Saturday afternoon to pick pumpkins!

Basically the only thing of substance from the news conference was another msg for the "person who called earlier"Didn't anybody else hear the gentleman who spoke after Chief Moose? Nobody is talking about it.
One of the things he said is the media (wasn't it the Washington Post?) report from the weekend about the bullet found in the rental truck was WRONG.
The bullet was a .223 and not the caliber reported "in the media".
I found this information of substance and it made the decision to delay a report on the truck/bullet until today while tests were conducted over the weekend reasonable, whereas the erroneous media report made one wonder why the delay to rule out the truck/bullet being related to the sniper.

Ireland? That's Orange, white and green.
Also, the Afghan flag the other poster mentioned is new. The old Taliban flag of Afghanistan was something completely different, too.

You are avoiding my question by responding with an absurd personal attack. How about answering the question logically rather than emotionally. It wasn't a personal attack. I just said if you're concerned about the economic status of the region, all those who feel they need to speak out against the citizens who live there can easily catch a bus and supply the area with the funds needed to keep running.
Now, if you take that as a personal attack, well, if the shoe fits....
