Whatever.
To: Rockpile
A number of the businesses targeted (Michael's, HD) are owned/operated out of Texas. May be a coincidence, then again...

If he doesn't wish to inform the public, through the media, the media does not have to give him a forum. They are private companies, not at his disposal with getting nothing in return. Please, the media will welcome whatever viewers or listeners it can get and the public is interested in whatever Chief Moose wishes to say regarding this case. Just by issuing his statement last night, it spoke volumes about what was going on in this case. We don't need the media to bully this public servant who wants nothing more than to keep the people in his jurisdiction and others safe.
Police rush and surround a suspect in a white van,...

It's okay, m1911.
No harm done...

CNN reporting NOTE implies demand for money.
To: KsSunflower
What the heck is going on at Fox? CNN has been all over this info that 2 men were in custody, hours before FOX announced it. Catherine Herridge is asleep at the wheel.
To: twigs
I thought that Home Depot was out of Atlanta...no?
To: Wright Wing
IMO, Fox is good for commentary (Brit Hume, Beltway Boys) but NOT for news.

CNN Reporting demand for money found in note at Saturday's shooting.
Fox has been AWFUL today with the babbling.

Herridge just reported minutes ago that the scheduled news conference with Moose would be late...CNN reported that long ago. Fox just stinks when it comes to breaking news!!!
To: twigs
Try again. Home Depot is based out of Atlanta, not Texas.
To: FootBall
CNN reporting call was received at TIP line that NOTE would be found at Ponderosa. Call received AFTER the shooting.
COPYCAT?

I'm sorry, you may be correct. I thought I read that somewhere here. I should be more careful. I do know that Michael's comes out of TX and certain there are a lot of oil interests there as well.

Do we have a name/description of the man/men arrested? Video clip of witness Keith Underwood described man from van as "neither white nor black...Hispanic...about 35." Haven't seen that video clip lately.
To: Wright Wing
"FOX News has been terrible in their coverage. Their experts seem relatively clueless and they continue stating that the person arristed is not the sniper." Bet it turns out Fox is correct. This is just raw speculation since I have no more real data than you do. However my guess is that the guy arrested in the van has nothing to do with the events; neither does the other guy they picked up who was in the van. Just another screw up by the Moose's team.
The CNN expert may appear more credible but reality is that CNN is just continuing to manufacture news to fit their expectation about the facts which are usually unfounded.
The rest of the current noise is in fact based on some real events they are not telling us about. However whether or not those events are really connected to the shootings is also not clear from any data that is yet in the public record.

I do so hope these are the guys.So do I... I have relatives in Richmond and it seems the perp(s) are working their way to that direction.
To: GeorgeandtheDralgore
No kidding! If they don't have the perps, we can just imagine what'll follow... I'm glad the local schools are closed. Yeah, that's the spirit that made America great.
I can just see the founding fathers now, gathered around the Declaration of Independence. One looks at another and says "If we sign this, they will find us and hang us." They toss it into the fireplace and all go home, so they can be safe.
You have a much better chance of dying in a car accident than you do of getting shot by this guy. You've got a better chance of slipping in the shower and killing yourself than you do of being his/her/their next victim.
They are getting exactly what they want - terror. With a few bullets they are disrupting the lives of MILLIONS.
I think we need to petition Congress to change the last line of our national anthem.
O're the land of the scared, and the home of the weak?

Thanks. I was corrected. Sorry for the error.
