Channel 6 in Richmond talking with a witness to the arrest. The citizen said the man was NOT white and NOT black. In response to question said the arrestee might be Latino.

Oct. 21, 2002--AP (Virginia) A spokesman for the multijurisdictional task force in charge of the DC area sniper, said that authorities have arrested the primary suspect in the case after a stunning lead. The spokesman released information on the suspect, Robert Baker, a 30 year old white male affiliated with a Virginia militia group and lifetime NRA member.
