We Americans are a pretty sentimental bunch... and our enemies always use that against us...
To: ~Kim4VRWC's~
I don't know - everything seems to be so confusing. All I know is that I have not been able to do much of anything else these days - except for trying to keep up with this sniper story.
To: GeorgeandtheDralgore
I think you are correct.
To: swarthyguy
Right! A FRENCH accent would be like finding a horse in a haystack, and not a needle. Just something I've been thinking about all day...
To: Chad Fairbanks
There are limits, Chad. Yamomoto knew that. Americans may look hedonistic party animals on the surface but the reality is vastly different. Muslims of America need to wake up!
And the real fear on the part of authorities is vigilantism. Not mentioned but in the background.
To: OReilly
you think so? I really heard it as a LISTED number, lol....could have used the word STATED number...
I am not familiar with 800 messaging system...?

My grandfather was a police chief for 26 years - and as emotional as he was (and believe me - in the privacy of his own home - he did let his emotions show) - but in public - he did his very best not to let it show. Sometimes - his emotions did get the best of him - but normally - he was able to control it.
In all fairness, though - he was never even close to anything like this!!

From one swarthy guy to another, we are in agreement... ;0)

QUESTIONS... QUESTIONS...
Why is Moose still running the show? - I find this odd... is the sniper only wanting to connect with Moose? (BTW... I just got back from dinner and see that the late call was due to them not opening up the letter in time to make the call when the sniper wanted them to.) - Also does the pay phone have anything to do with the sniper case? or is that just where they happened to bust the 2 illegals today? - I am confused - Did the police think the illegals were involved in the sniper case at the start and then discovered they were not? - Does anyone have a clear picture of what happened today with the sniper & the illegals?
To: MasonGal
Me either, and the more I hear the more confused I become. Thank God for FR. You people help alot. (Most of you, anyway.) :)
To: Letitring
Gitmo prisoners released.
Powell saying Saddam could stay in power.
And Bush going the extra mile to advocate a peaceful resolution.
Tinfoilly, yes, but we underestimate these scumbags at our own risk.
To: MasonGal
I keep debating whether to eat my dinner, or sit here and catch up! :)
To: brigette
A TV reporter said that LE told him those two guys had to be the two unluckiest dudes around. Wrong place, wrong time....
To: Letitring
That's why I've been a freeper for more than 4 1/2 years now!! Although I was once a very active poster, I've lurked for quite a few months. I'm starting to post more again.
I always come back to FR - lots of support here!!
To: Letitring
Money in exchange for no more murders? It seems to me, listening to these reporters, it might be something more massive. I know, it sounds strange to me, but others have pointed out that terrorists have demanded money in the past which I didn't realize.
But I only heard this on ABC news, and haven't picked it up anywhere else yet. It seems to me too that it's something more massive though.
To: getmeouttaPalmBeachCounty_FL
hmmm - decisions, decisions. I had my dinner about an hour ago. :))
To: swarthyguy
OK...Thanks, but does the pay phone have a connection to the sniper and these 2 illegals just happened to pick that pay phone and gas station?
To: brigette
Yes, now that I understand, maybe. :) Seems the LEO's had that particular telephone staked out. These 2 guys showed up, acted weird, (they had to chase one of them down), used the telephone and WHAM. Like something out of a movie, the witnesses said. :)
To: MasonGal
Aalrighty!! I'll be right back! And the plate's coming, too!!
To: swarthyguy
He wants to be precise. You could be right, and then, I could be right also..Have you noticed that when the press ask him 'how do you FEEL' questions, his pat answer is "It would not be APPROPRIATE to discuss MY feelings.." Since when? Since his handlers(maybe you don't like this word) let him know pretty quickly that he had to come off his flustration stuff, as he is supposed to be a PROFESSIONAL...objective, stating facts. etc..
