Huh? Like if called into the county sheriff's office they wouldn't be able to transfer the call?

Anyone can call the previously published numbers...and say whatever they want, "I am the sniper and I am a right-wing, gun carrying redneck...etc".

The sniper, if that is indeed the person who left this number at the crime scene is the only one who knows what it is and thus when he calls it and claims to be the sniper possesses credibility.
