I think this freak gets a real charge out of what he's doing and yanks on the trigger, pulling the muzzle down.

I'd be willing to bet he's missed a few times and no one's the wiser.

I speculated last night that he's using a scope that's zeroed for ~100 yards, but he's not compensating for closer shots. However, thinking about that further, if he's aiming at the head close up, the bullet should go over the target's head, since there's not enough bullet-drop for the bullet and the point of aim to intersect at 30-40yds.
