This was released tonight for the morning political talk shows. It will be rereleased Monday morning to the media. Some people here on FR added comments in support of the previous release, but I can tell you that until now, only a handful of people knew anything about this. Details of the system are not being disclosed.

High Tech is wonderful.
But, actually, for now I would be satisfied if people just had to show a driver's license (or government ID) to be allowed to vote. Liberals think that showing ID is the equivilent of a $1000 poll tax.

Faceprints -
that will also get Matt Drudge going.

In South Dakota, several hundred requests from Democrats for absentee ballots were mailed in to the registrar in a single envelope. Too f***n cheap to spend for separate envelope postage!

Thompson said I can tell you that we are going to use it in New Jersey, Minnesota, Missouri, South Dakota, Florida, and possibly Wisconsin. Good! Here in NJ, I would like to see this IPOL, and cameras, and fingerprinting, and handwriting analysis, and photo ID's, and a Bible on hand to swear on.

I am still a little skeptical of the effort if it is funded by well-heeled Democrats, particularly if they are doing a "See, OUR victories are honest, honest!" This high-tech stuff is capable of being manipulated both ways. I would be happy if the DOJ was there also, good Republican nominees. Remember, it was the "angry mobs" of FReepers who kept the Dems from stealing Florida when they tried to take the effort into the back room.

But, actually, for now I would be satisfied if people just had to show a driver's license (or government ID) to be allowed to vote. Yes, I completely agree. I'd be even happier if the people who cancelled out my vote were put in the same jail cell with a 300-pound pervert for a couple of years. Stealing votes should be treated at least as seriously as shop lifting.

Here comes the rain...this software just doesn't work reliably. Even the networking situation described here sounds like something Q would like to be able to offer to James Bond but can't.
Sorry, I think these people are trying to throw a scare into possible multiple voters.

Sorry, I think these people are trying to throw a scare into possible multiple voters. That wouldn't hurt.

It's a start.

Cellular wireless networking is a reality - it's called CDPD, and you can get a little PCI modem for your laptop and service for $35 a month. It's slow, but it doesn't have to be warp speed to send over facial map data.

The most surprising aspect of this group is that over half of the $1.6 million dollar budget the group has to work with comes from a handful of wealthy Democrats. They are intent on proving that the Republican accusations of voter fraud are baseless. Don't trust it already. Any more ideas?

"Too f***n cheap to spend for separate envelope postage!" Or just too dumb. Either way, it worked against them in this case.
To: Exit148
I would like to see them use it in key Rat areas in Arkansas.
To: 1stFreedom
Something smells here. If the Rats(perps of almost all voter fraud) are funding it, then it is some sort of smoke cover for them. There will be massive votor fraud, and they will find a couple of direlct REPs, and pay them to vote twice, and say "see, the Republicans do it too".
However it may backfire, if thier tapes are supeoned in any legal action that might insue. We just need a few people with phot graphic memories stationed at the most likley poling areas.

I hope this gets well publicised. Just the fear of being detected may deter many!

We need to start putting people in jail for vote fraud. They are destroying our Constitution.

I concur.
To tell the truth, I think this story along with the drones overflying DC looking for muzzle flashes over a 50 mile area, are sent out as deterents. I don't believe such technology is effective enough to actually catch some. But if it can sow a seed of doubt that they MAY be captured, maybe the can help control if for a while.
(Not that I am an expert on the technologies... just a guy with an opinion.)
