The cops will probably feel like idiots when they realize the white van is always at the scene as a decoy
I think the cops are totally lost on this. They seem to be outsmarted and the very size of the LE response has become a liability.
Some ladder racks can be strapped or clamped on and be removed to change a vehicle description in less than a minute.A small,extended extension ladder could be kept on the ladder rack for looks and collapsed to fit inside the vehicle along with the rack.
Also,magnetic signs could be removed or added easily to confound searchers.
Just a couple of thoughts.
