I still think it is muslim terrorists and I believe they will continue with the shootings as a way to cause us economic damage throughout the holiday season.
Retailers make most of their money during the Christmas season. If people are afraid to leave their homes, not much shopping will get done. A potential boost for online sales.

I'm buying stock in Amazon.com. On-line shopping is going to surge this holiday season. Don't mean to seem uncaring about the victims but life goes on and this is still America.

I am beginning to lean STRONGLY in your direction.

Take it one step further--can you imagine the impact of a "pregnant" woman at a Neiman's or Saks (ultimate symbols of our capitalistic success) in a mall during Christmas who turns out to be a suicide bomber. One incident like this and it could "kill" Christmas (60% of annual shopping is done during the four weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas) and the 2002 year end economic recovery.
And like the airports, can you imagine the long-term effect on retail if you had to go through metal detectors, etc., everytime you went into a mall or K-Mart?
