And like the airports, can you imagine the long-term effect on retail if you had to go through metal detectors, etc., everytime you went into a mall or K-Mart?

Not just one, but many homicide bombers, including in smaller towns, would be more Al Qaeda's style. Al Qaeda never does something small.
That's why I think this sniper is just a lone nut. Of course, the crazy muslim jihadists are probably taking notice of the fiasco this guy is causing and are probably considering doing something like this. Ugh!
