You are right. I talked to my bubba union liberal dem brother this week about the sniper situtation and the governer's executive order to ban arms being fired in four counties. He said he would be glad to forego his deer hunting, if only to save some lives.

This is a man who lives in rural western Kentucky on sixty acres, who considers hunting a second religion.

I asked him, then, what would you consider taking a line in the sand for, which you would resist as a citizen if confronted by a law that was not Constitutional.

He answered by saying that he was a moderate and would weight the issue.

I am almost without hope.
