I saw some of the idiot profilers last week saying that the guy was most likely white because if he had a choice he was shooting minorities or people with dark hair

I heard the same report, and maybe the sniper did too.

After all when the word went out that schools were safe, he hit a student.

Now word is he's not hitting white guys, and voila, a white guy is hit.

If *I* see a white van leaving the scene of a shooting, You can damn well better believe I am going to chase it, Honk, call 911 and harrass it, drawing as much attention as I can.

They are downplaying it being sniper-related--while simultaneously making a local shooting incident national news.

Until this past week, they were also playing down the possibility of the sniper being a terrorist....

I now wonder, without a willing media with 24/7 coverage of these shootings, regional paranoia, etc. if the shootings would continue. Media attention might be all that is needed and a greater reward for any kind of sick mind than even the "trophy" of nine dead innocent American citizens.

Just got home ourselves and turned tv on; don't know the answer to your question - sorry. New info: Witness reporting seeing a white van with ladder on top of it in the area at the time of shooting.
