Just reported. Took place outside of a Ponderosa Steakhouse. Not sure if it is related or not at this time. Police have shut down parts of I-95.

I heard somewhere the other day that restaurant business in Montgomery County was down 50%. If one has ever seen all the restaurants in Bethesda they would know the effect this is having. Your point is well taken.

If there were a campaign underway to ban boxed vans because of the misuse of a few, I probably would object to be questioned about it.

And that was a joke. And I am old and you are probably young.
We are going to be going through national trauma at intermittent intervals, because this is a war. And part of war is not knowing when you are attacked if it is an enemy or a deranged member of your own community.
Humor is helpful and civility is also helpful in such times. Most of us at FreeRepublic have such large egos or deeply held principles that civility often is a unknown skill, and I am definitely not talented in that area.
But, in war, maybe we should all start to learn new skills.
