Just reported. Took place outside of a Ponderosa Steakhouse. Not sure if it is related or not at this time. Police have shut down parts of I-95.

The difference is this: "the police are not sure if it is related to the sniper," incites FEAR and creates more interest than simply stating the fact. Which is, it is too early in the investigation to determine if this is related to the sniper.

You may not see a difference, but believe me, there are plenty of people who have been hunkered down in the MD., DC., and VA. area, who hear and interpet this very differently.

I tend to think that Americans are starting to turn into wimps.......once, when I was about eight months pregnant, two friends and I were driving up the interstate in Maine. We saw a car in front of us lose control and roll over. I made my friend stop the car, and a number of others stopped as well. However, none of the big strong MEN that had stopped bothered to go over to the car until they saw ME waddling over to see if the guy was okay.

As far as the sniper goes, I am convinced that there is more than one and they are ME terrorists. I read a great book by John Douglas, the man that pioneered the FBI's profiling unit. It was all about spree killers, mass murderers, and serial killers. The reason the sniper doesn't fit any of these profiles is because he's a terrorist! I wish people would stop being so PC and just get rid of all the filthy Muslims that the US is housing!

Who knows what happens in cells? My point was there's been so much speculation by others that it looked like the person or persons had a weekend job. This narrows down the possibility that he worked at night on the weekend. That was one of the theories the MEDIA was suggesting - I didn't really buy it.

They can't tell us that this is terrorism, or even hint of it. It's "for our own good".

This shooter has to be using a supressor - cause a .223 makes a significant (not impresive, but significant) report. That is, every head would turn toward the shooter immediately. Haven't heard of anyone hearing the shot.
