Hanover County Shooting [Ashland, Virginia- North of Richmond]

Just reported. Took place outside of a Ponderosa Steakhouse. Not sure if it is related or not at this time. Police have shut down parts of I-95.

The cop haters sure talk big
I was called a Clinton-hater by demagogues many times when it was really opposition to policy and philosophy. I guess I can stand to be called cop-hater in similar fashion.

I'd accept Marshall law. As in, getting Matt Dillon to form up a huge-assed posse full of us trigger-happy, kick-them-ragheads-outta-here types to go down to MD/VA and clean up the situation.
That won't happen, though. It'll be a drawn out affair with a few more deaths. No clear cut strategy and no final closure.

Are you saying Checkpoint Charlie and the suspension of basic rights for entire populations of people should occur whenever someone, sadly, is shot? Taking extraordinary measures to search for, track, and apprehend foreign killers loose in America, killing Americans, does not require the 'suspension of basic rights for entire populations'.
Your excessive hyperbole provides cover for the namby-pambys who prevent us from dealing with this thing forcefully and swiftly.

To be clear, the article is in reference to the shell casing found in the rental truck near Dulles airport, NOT in tonight's shooting in Ashland.
That bullet is apprently still in the guy and we don't know what caliber it os.

With the traffic backed up and car to car checking it would be interesting to go back over the highway and see all the stuff dumped out open containers, dope, firearms ect.

The bullets cannot be fired from the same weapon because they require different sized chambers and barrels Guess some stupid reporter out there has never heard of using a .30 / .223 sabot sleeve on a round.

All cops aren't bad. I have had my row with more than a few but we do need em to a degree.
I'm not too crazy about asset confiscation FED LEOS but I blame AUSAs more for that. BATFAGS coming for my guns will inspire hostility in me too.
But to be a cop hater in general sounds a bit WTO/Anarchist there AR....I'd reflect on that one....I've known a few fine county mounties and beat cops in my day.

I'm sorry, but the 'tough actions' that they are taking part in RIGHT NOW in the NorEast and have been taking part in at airports, doing cavity searches of little white grandmas, while MEs are NOT searched, is ludicrous.
