Just reported. Took place outside of a Ponderosa Steakhouse. Not sure if it is related or not at this time. Police have shut down parts of I-95.

This shooter finds a hole; cases the hole; and then camps in the hole.
Shooter comes out of the hole, takes a snapshot and retreats to hole.
Travels later.
In this case, the shooter is using axes other than the north-south corridor(s).
My guess would be that the shooter is traveling along the circle routes, as often used by the Confederates during the Civil War.
Travels north-south on axis to the west; gets to that axis on the old Virginia pikes.
Always a different axis.
Probably has been using route maps published for evasion tactics schools, such as used by various upper-muckety-mucks.
Those maps show every navigable path through which a car can travel to escape and evade kidnappers.
Corporate types regularly attend such training programs around the "greater D.C. area."
I agree, if they have a box truck or van what if they ddrive down some rural road 20 miles and park. They then pull out camo netting cover the van, boot up a laptop with satelite povider, and watch the shat unfold on the internet Total cost for equipment $30,000 including van and gun. $2,000 if they rent van and are paying for comp via credit line.
Here's an idea. Why not coordinate one of these shootings with something bigger. That way, while roads are backed up for dozens of miles, emergency vehicles can't get to the scene of (fill in the blank).
Yes, he did say that. My point is that the sniper took his shot and was probably making fast tracks before the 911 call was even made. In the time it took to make the 911 call and the police to respond, the sniper was miles away.

Yeah, they won't hire people to be cops who have IQ's over 120, and a lot of the crap they are doing is STOOOpid, but I don't think running around and shooting Sikhs (who DO wear turbins) is going to help.
