We use two ways all the time. If I put myself in the shooters footsteps, I can picture walking the edge of the green spaces or woods with a backpack into a residential area and eventually giving out an intersection to the driver.

For all we know, they have handheld GPS units and the shooter could be giving the lat/long to the driver who has a GPS car unit. We keep assuming that they have to get onto the major highways.

Subdivisions usually have a couple of exits and are easy to follow on a local Town Map. All they have to do is make sure (the day before) that there is no construction going on...which would cut them off.

Do you remember the path of the scent the bloodhounds picked up at the HD shooting?

I thought I hear the scent was picked up near where Mrs. Franklin died.
