ROTFLMAO!!
That's great! I hope no one gets offended but we can have a little accuracy without believing the garbage the media insists on spewing.

Timmy McVeigh and Terry Nichols......
Two white boy dupes........the middle east connection....just evaporates....

The federal bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms is expected to have results of ballistics testing on the shell casing no sooner than 9 a.m. Saturday. Unfortunately, no information the BATF releases about their findings in this case can be regarded as credible. The BATF is widely acknowledged to be a notoriously corrupt and incompentent organization.
Disregard anything they say or report. If you don't understand how the BATF can be such a corrupt organization, see Unintended Consequences by John Ross for background information.

Hope the rental agency knows who they rented the vehicle to. Wonder what kind of id he presented. This could lead in many directions, provided there is a link to the shell. Did he fly out? Did he stay in a local hotel/motel. Were the rental plates entered when they registered to stay?

"The casing and the truck are to be examined by forensics experts at an
undisclosed location" Hey! They can't do that! Dick already has dibs on that place!

Anyone want to bet that this is another prank - by someone unconnected with the "snipers?"

Or "evidence" delivered by the cops in order to let the public think they know something? Something other than felons claiming to see something that must not only be ignored, but deep sixed. The cops are soooo clueless in this whole mess. Quick, somebody go light up a joint, unhook your seatbelt, or let your dog crap without cleaning it up. Your DC metro force needs some productivity numbers. This real crime is just ruinning their numbers.
I think the crew of shooters has moved on to another locale. Congress has adjorned for the season. Doesn't anyone find the cesation of shootings and the congressional break a bit puzzling?

When you hear hoofbeats, think horses, not zebras!
It seems to me that we are living more and more in a zebra kind of world where truth is stranger than fiction.

"Hope the rental agency knows who they rented the vehicle to." It's SOP for rental firms to zerox the renter's photo I.D. and require at least that he/she sign the rental agreement, if not fill in at least some parts of it. If the renter is from elsewhere, they also usually obtain his/her (alleged) local address and phone number for the period of the rental. If a credit card is used instead of cash, the rental agency also has that document. Many rental firms also now have time stamping security camera's video taping the rental office interior around the clock.

If the rental company knew this truck was rented with the dented bumper, etc, why wouldn't they contact the authorities about that truck being rented?

"Two white boy dupes........the middle east connection....just evaporates...." Dulles Airport seems to be popular with Terrorist....Remember 911?
9:39 a.m.: An American Airlines Flight 77,(11x7=77) high-jacked from Dulles International Airport outside of Washington, was flown into the Pentagon. The flight had 58 passengers, four flight attendants and two pilots aboard. American Airlines said the jet, a 757, had been scheduled to leave Dulles at 8:10 a.m.

that is to say... they KNOW the guy gave false testimony, most plausibly because they already have the perps nailed... and can prove it... They KNOW he gave false testimony because he said he was outside when the shooting occurred, while security cameras show in inside the Home Depot at that time. Other witnesses also put him inside when the shot was fired. His lying led them to search in the wrong place, although one suspects they didn't find anything in the right place either. It also had the police on the lookout for the wrong vehicle, although they were never only looking for that one type only.

If a credit card is used instead of cash, the rental agency also has that document At least one that I know of won't take cash unless they can find someone to vouch for the renter, and it can't be someone standing right there. I once met my brother in law at the airport when he flew in for a job interview, and I had just flow back into town, after having gotten a ride to the airport, that is I didn't have my own car there. They wouldn't rent him a vehicle for cash, and my standing right there vouching for him, with my own ID(s) wasn't good enough for them. He had no credit cards as he was coming off a bad bought of credit card misuse and was trying to get well, which he eventually did.

seems kinda dumb to me to go over the truck if the catridge case isn't compatible with any of the recovered bullets, which they would know as soon as they saw the case, so I suspect it is of hte proper caliber. Of course that proves nothing, since they'd pretty well broadcast that the bullets are from .223/5.56X45. At least it wouldn't unless the case is NOT a .223 or 5.56x45.

You know what happened the first time the BELTWAY sniper took his first shot?
The French surrendered...
To: Asmodeus
Was the phoney "witness" the same one who saw olive skin or 'arab' gents do the long-range, single-shot kill with an AK-47? That story stunk to high heaven and the media should'a figured that one out. The cops probably kept going over the story with him until it (and he) fell apart. EVERY sensational crime has a nutcase, phony witness, it seems (rememember that O.J. "witness" who was gonna exonirate him?)
I don't believe they secretly have the sniper(s), esp. if he/they WERE arab terrorist(s). Too much of a PR op. to cover up.
