Gray Davis : Illegal immigration is not against the law
Mark Larson Radio Show ^ | 10/18/2002 | self

Posted on 10/18/2002 12:29:26 PM PDT by ZGuy

At a rally yesterday, Gray Davis spoke on the subject of illegal immigrants receiving California drivers licenses. In order to gain the latino vote, Governor Davis clarified his position with the following statement which was recorded and played on the Mark Larson Radio Show this morning,
"I think they should be able to get a drivers license as long as they haven't broken any laws."

Governor Davis and fellow hispanic friends take guesses on how many ballot boxes will be found floating in the San Francisco Bay.

Apples and oranges. In the case of property like a car, if the item is recovered, it gets returned.

Is the rule of law endangered just because someone did not get the maximum sentence?

If someone breaks into your house and starts living there, and the government makes him pay a fine while decreeing he may continue to squat on your residence...

Has the rule of law been upheld?

Oh, and if the judge gives him probation and a fine as opposed to the maximum jail sentence, does that put the rule of law in danger?

If he thinks that they ought to get licenses, then why did he veto that bill? Didn't they pay him enough?

No, I want them deported.

Last I heard, you favored Amnesty. Has that changed?

Are you THAT afraid of answering MY question?

Your question, "Are you seriously saying that someone who ends up paying a hefty fine and who is placed on probation did NOT get punished?" was dishonest.

Allowing an Illegal to stay in America allows him to keep the proceeds of his criminal enterprise: residence in the United States.

With probation, that is not the case, the criminal must make restitution.

Since your question is based on a false premise, it merits no answer.

Copout.

Nothing but a copout.

You're hiding again behind the whole "false premise" when YOU don't seem to be able to confront a legitimate question, so I will ask it AGAIN:

Is the rule of law harmed just because someone does not get the maximum sentence?

It only takes a one-word answer - YES OR NO.

Which is it?

It only takes a one-word answer - YES OR NO.

Are you more or less dense since you stopped beating your wife?

Yes or no?

Hint: it's not a copout if you accuse me of loading the question with a false premise, because I have.

Hint #2: your question here is not legitimate because it too, contains a false premise, as I described above.

Here's a question without a false premise:

Is the rule of law harmed when criminals are routinely allowed to legalize their possession of their ill-gotten gains?

You may answer "yes," "no," or in any manner you choose.

BTW, here's another:

When criminals are routinely allowed to legalize their possession of their ill-gotten gains, is the incidence of those types of crimes likely to increase or decrease?

"Gay" Davis is trying to have his cake and eat it, too. He screwed the Hispanics - everyone knows it - but now he's trying to say he really cares about their issues. Sickening creep from hell! Here's a clue for the governor: ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION IS ILLEGAL AND IT'S KILLING OUR STATE. GO, SIMON!

I would take that a in a little different direction. If we closed the borders, or at least controlled them effectively, we would eliminate much of the need for alerts!

"If CA elects this slimy cretin again, they deserve what they get."

Problem is that it is the illegals that he is appealing to who can't legally vote anyway, but in the Rat dictionary law is what Republicans must obey. It doesn't apply to Rats, particularly when it comes to election fraud.
