FINALLY someone connected the dots on terrorism and the economy. The next dot in line is HOMELAND SECURITY legislation.

Rush was talking about this today, people that don't have security (which the war on terrorism is all about)don't go out and go shopping because of the fear of having their head blown off.

to paraphrase a famous DEMONRAT: " Its NATIONAL SECURITY STUPID!!!!"

This could be why the sniper is laying low. Even if he doesn't shoot again, everyone will still remember into Christmas shopping season and be afraid to go out much. If he's caught, that fear vanishes.
But if he's not caught and shoots again, say, the day before Thanksgiving, shopping goes online and mail-order for this year.

Well, I dunno. This afternoon I was at a Washington-area Home Depot and yesterday I was at Michael's. I couldn't find a place to park and had to wait in the checkout line for a looooong time. I didn't see anybody looking nervous or darting behind the support pillars of the parking garage at Home Depot. It was hard to get a shopping cart through aisles crowded with customers.

Food for thought... there were 9 killed out of 11 shot. I think the shootings have stopped in that area. What better finger print than to stop now, and let it be known as the 9-11 shootings.
