thanks for the heads up liberty... i don't have a long gun yet but am thinking of taking up one as soon as the governor here bans them... i have been rehearsing for the day when the gubment comes for my glock and through many rehearsals... it ain't pretty... this weekend is going to be hell, i fear, cause the media harped on the shooter taking the weekends off... staying safe and sound and fully loaded.... both ways

There was a thread saying that there is a sniper in Mesa too. I don't know why we haven't heard more about it. There have been 4 seemingly unrelated shootings. Dawn will be in Mesa this weekend.

By the way, these "sleeper calls all over the country," are those the same ones that "rose up" during Desert Storm, (as we were then threatened)?

I am suprised that most people do not seem to realize that 9-11 was a pearl harbor and the war is on. These "sleeper" cells are coming in the door as we speak. The reason they are using US Military tactics is that we trained them with the CIA during Oslo in sniper tactics. 20 shooter/spotter teams were set up for the Palestinians and trained for "police" work.

Now it seems that the training did not stop there. Who would have thought that the men we trained to kill Jews, would train other Jihadists to now kill us. Sad isn't it. Our tax dollars used to train dictator hit squads. What is even more sad is that our government who trained these perps is not fessing up to the obvious Palestinian/Islam connection possibility, but is using this to set up gun confiscation using the firearm purchase waiting lists. It is illegal to do so, but if they are willing to buck the constitution, why not break the laws about the gun purchase paperwork. It seems the powers that be have a new plan for my country and the world.

Funny, I recall a vow once made by all American servicemen to fight all enemies of the Constitution foreign or domestic. I also do not recall a time limit on that vow. Who is America? It is my neighbors, not my rulers. Get ready, Stock up on the three B's, bullets, beans and Bibles.

I'm not in charge of who's of the bang list. I just occasionally ping the bang list on what I think is an article of interest. Not sure who is in charge. Maybe I should be pinging the person in charge and let them decide if the bang list should be pinged.

He said that they were using the hard copy of the original disclosure form I filled out when I purchased the guns over 10 years ago and these records were obtained from the Maryland State Police and it was perfectly legal for him to contact gun owners in Maryland.

So, when one is screened before purchasing a gun, they do use that for maintaining a list of gun owners and it is not deleted after the person is cleared to purchase the gun.

So, why are we fighting this so-called "fingerprinting" of guns if they already have their nice list for future confiscation?

It really isn't a screening, It's a form with 7 questions on it and they all must be answered "Yes" in order to walk out of the store with the gun (That was back then, Now you have to be approved by the State police before taking posession, Usually takes a week) Ballistic fingerprinting is a joke, It's not a law enforcement tool, It's a registration database is what the gungrabbers want. Anyone could scratsh the chamber and bore of the weapon and alter the so-called fingerprint of the gun. The gungrabbers use the word "fingerprint" as propaganda to make people think this is a law enforcement tool that will save lives. It's a joke and should never be implimented. It will cost billions and a another huge Bureaucracy

The *bang list is not a group of posters. It is an archive of articles related to guns and gun control.

When you type *bang list into the To box, the forum software automatically files a link to the article there at the archive so that anyone interested in that topic can go there to find it. This is the way we used to organize various subjects here.

JR has stopped allowing us to put in new categories because we've switched to the Topic/Keyword system instead.

Not all of the files have yet been converted, and apparently the *bang list is one of them.
