I know. :) We're all just speculating at this point. But I just know you can't swing a dead cat without running into somwone in the area that works for the government in some capacity.
Sorry to all of you you have cats.:)

Also, did you notice when he was asked if people should try to return to their normal lives he said we, as Americans, should not be intimidated but we need to take precautions. I wondered why he threw in the "as Americans" phrase -- unless it was a slip and they have info suggesting that it is non-Americans doing this. When he was asked if they received any direct threats he hesitated for quite a bit and then said he could discss that.

could discuss = could not discuss

bowhunters, heard it. Two guys were walking into the woods. They were questioned, nothing there.

Good point! Maybe the sniper was waiting for the cooler weather for the overcoat stuff to not look out of place.
Hmmmmm...

Goodmorning, bc. Yep, same old stuff. No news may be good news in some cases, but I'm still anxious. He usually strikes Friday night, as well. So if he's quiet tonight I hope they can still catch him (them).

Re: your post 184. I noticed that, too, now that you mention it. I didn't hear the "Americans" part but I did hear him avoid the question about threats.

I agree with you. There is too much activity going on around the world. This is an excerpt from the AP on a report out of Pakistan today about C-4 that was used in a bunch of parcel bombs that were directed to the Pakistani goverment offices. e-mails claiming responsibility were sent to a major Pakistani daily newspaper and a local news agency.
The e-mail said the bombs were "a warning to those police officers involved in operations against 'Mujahedeen' (holy warriors) at the behest of the Americans."
It threatened guerrilla operations would soon start against "anti-Islam police officers and other infidels." Other Muslims are planning a mass attack on the United States.

.......something is in the air. Didn't George Tenet's comments yesterday make you feel a whole lot better?

"Robett Young. I assume it isn't his real name."
Probably is his name. I know a little kid named Austin Powers. He was born a year before the first movie came it.:)

Did anybody catch Paul Wolfowitz's talk on C-SPAN? In the question period after the talk, Constantine Menges asked Wolfowitz about the connection between Iraq and al Qaeda. Wolfowitz basically said he had evidence, but it's classified.

" I know a little kid named Austin Powers..."One of my touring Christian music groups had the following:
- Jack Parr - Trumpet
- Cliff Robertson - Piano
- Billy Graham - Spot operator
The latter really had the ministers of the host churches going!

I agree (not ME terrorists) and apologize if my take has already been posted somewhere here, but I'm inclined to think (kind of like Bo Dietle) that it's a couple of Columbine-type nihilists playing a reality version of a video game: Kill and Get Away With It.
I can't imagine someone not spilling his guts or our intelligence not penetrating the conspiracy if it was int'l terrorists, OR that it would've gone this long without someone taking responsibility for it.
I don't remember anyone even trying to claim responsibility for the anthrax attacks, nor has anyone attempted it here that I'm aware of...
