It's my thought that if there is not a shooting today or Friday, that we should hold off on posting daily threads regarding this topic. This is NOT because I don't want to start a thread each morning due to laziness, but rather to save bandwidth. As stated earlier, because there were several witnesses and some videotape which makes the vehicles more easily recognizable, I think the shooters will go to ground for a while, perhaps a long while.
I'd like Freeper recommendations regarding posting this thread beyond Friday morning. Naturally, if there is another shooting, we'd start it up again. I probably won't respond to each recommendation individually, but let's think about where we want to go from here. Thanks for the input.

Shootings to spread to other U.S. cities? WorldNetDaily.com ^ | October 17, 2002 | By Jon Dougherty
A former Green Beret and combat veteran who is an expert in Middle East-based Islamic terrorism believes the sniper killings in the Washington, D.C., area may be the opening shots of a wider, national effort directed against the United States.
John Moore, a former Missouri homicide detective and veteran of more than 57 combat missions in Vietnam, told WorldNetDaily in a wide-ranging interview that he believes the recent sniper attacks are just the beginning of a larger campaign.
"What's going on is what I like to call 'marketing research,'" said Moore, who is also the author of several Special Forces classified studies on Islamic terrorism. "It may just be a test tactic for future use."
He said if the shootings are the work of a terrorist cell and he believes they are they "may want to learn just how much shooting they have to do in order to get the desired effect."

I'm carrying my question over from Wed. thread to get some more help.
Does anyone know what days or hours a Virginia water and soil conservation inspector would work? Approx. how far would he travel? Funny thing, same guy (my perp) may be an inspector for them. He inspects ******son city. Hampton Beltway area. Sound familiar to my past stories? This just keeps getting weirder and weirder. Perhaps the Fairfax Policewoman that spoke with me and finally took the time to get all my info has taken action to give my story to someone important. She said she was running it right down. Whatever that means. No shootings since (crossing fingers). For anyone who missed it: I have a suspect that lives in Fairfax that has an intriguing story behind it and I was trying to somehow connect him to the Hampton Beltway for personal theory reasons. Also, I have read how many have been arrested for possessing illegal firearms and I do not wish to get anyone in trouble that does not deserve to be. Unfortunate consequences considering the links from the stories I have posted. I apologize to anyone who doesn't understand my posts but many have been updated on my theory and I do not want to keep posting it due to possibly incriminating an innocent person. So if anyone knows the hours, days and travel distances of a water and soil inspector, please let me know.

This is bizarre - it's as if the entire news media is totally OBLIVIOUS to the possibility, indeed - the probability - that this is the work of middle eastern terrorists! Instead they bring on various talking heads to profile a "serial killer" - what a bunch of hooey! Witnesses said the guy was olive-skinned; the pattern fits Al Qaeda training videos; and in case the idiots at the networks forgot - WE ARE IN A WAR. Duh. I am going to turn off the idiot box and stick to talk radio. The news media and government both disgust me. The govt. is using this as an excuse to support more gun control - nevermind that the stinking govt. can't protect its citizens, it now wants citizens to be totally disarmed and helpless like fish in a bowl. I say, "out of my cold dead hands!"

Can you tell us why you suspect him without revealing too much?

I'm wondering about the statement they don't know identity of the firearmThe female officier that spoke for Moose said it was a AK74 and I figured the witness was exmilitary and knew his guns.
If they do have a good description and if the press knows it that will have a huge impact on the believability of future reporting on such incidents. (like they have any creditability now)

The Pentagons participation also could involve a system of sensors that could detect flashes of gunfire on the ground The last shooting was in a coverered area - on the first floor of an open air parking garage. Airborn surveillance will probably not be able to pick it up. On the plus side, a good number of parking garages like that have cameras installed already.

Why not give that department a call and say you are doing some research?

Here's a link to a Virginia SWCD Map (it's not a very good map, but for locals it might make more sense):

I think I will soon work on getting it all together in one post for all to read. You can find a small excerpt
here until then.

Good Idea Peach. I thank YOU for being so diligent and staying on top of this...Your threads are the central base. All the new threads creatd by Kattracks and everyone else., helps a lot. A big team effort.
Maybe if the posts reach 1000, a new weekend thread could be started. The graphics are low, so that helps reloads a lot. Whatever you decide will be good.

I been intrigued by your suspicions, but may have missed some of your posts. Did LEO ever return your calls? Do they have the specific information about your theory? Will you split the reward (just kidding)?

Good point! I wonder if there is anything that can make the gunfire go undetected besides being in an underground parking lot.
