Ayatollah Mohsen Mujtahed Shabestari called for the killing of Baptist preacher Jerry Falwell, evangelist Franklin Graham and Christian Coalition founder Pat Robertson. Would this be considered a "hate crime"?

"...A high-ranking Iranian Muslim cleric has called for the death of three U.S. Christian leaders for insulting the prophet Muhammad. An Abrar, Iran newspaper reported that last Friday during a prayer sermon, Ayatollah Mohsen Mujtahed Shabestari called for the killing of Baptist preacher Jerry Falwell, evangelist Franklin Graham and Christian Coalition founder Pat Robertson..." And the reason we haven't yet flown a cruise missle up this Satan-worshipping bastard's ass is...?

"What Americans don't realize is that remarks like this are flashed all over the Muslim world, and they are doing very serious damage to U.S. interests."I can see why repeating the truth is contrary to these peoples' interests.

"What Americans don't realize is that remarks like this are flashed all over the Muslim world, and they are doing very serious damage to U.S. interests."And it does the Islamic world just all kinds of good to have their murderous loonie leaders calling for the deaths of prominent American Christians, no doubt. These people are so dumb they don't even realize how stupid they sound. "Muhammed wasn't a violent terrorist and we're going to prove it by killing you."

"How dare they say Islam is not peaceful??? Off with their heads!!"

Well, these men are not all that far from the sniper shootings. I hope that they take special care and that all believers pray for their safety. Turning off 95 several times will get you to Falwell; Pat Robertson is to the east and I assume Franklin is in NC, the next state you come to. This is not good for them at all!

"U.S. leaders want to repeat the crusades," Shabestari reportedly said.... No; we're not interested in taking Jerusalem back from the Islamists; we're interested in awarding the folks that think like Shabestari their 72 Janet Renos.

"The Washington Post," experts believe a recent series of disparaging remarks about Islam by Falwell, Graham and Robertson have sparked riots in India, helped religious parties win elections in Pakistan and undermined public sympathy in Islamic countries for the U.S. war on terrorism If true (big fat "if") Islamics appear to be the biggest bunch of thin-skinned whining imps I have ever heard of.

These guys are straight-jacket material.

The DOJ should start a new list. One that contains all of the names of these clerics who are involved in a conspiracy to commit murder.

Eeesh...What went through my 50 year old brain when I read this = Touch a hair on Franklin Graham's head and I will personally come over there and rip your still beating heart out of your chest and eat it in front of your horrified eyes.
I think I need to stick to decaf in the afternoon.

I could care less how the Religion Of Peace receives our criticism. Let them blow up more nightclubs like in Bali... and for the record, I don't believe anything Falwell, Graham, and Robertson have said that has contributed to the fanaticism sweeping the Muslim world. After all, its Muslim clerics that are threatening Christians with death merely for having the temerity to question less savory aspects of their religion. So who are the folks who are intolerant and hateful? As for the so-called "experts" these are the same people who never saw 9-11 coming and who refuse to face up to the fact its Islam that threatens the freedom and security of the Western World.

"U.S. leaders want to repeat the crusades," Shabestari reportedly said...Say... am I wrong or didn't the Muslims launch a crusade from the East, conquering the Holy Land that was inhabited by the Jews and many Christians, killing many and driving more out in a orgy of rape and murder?
Isn't the Dome of the Rock built on the site of the Jew's demolished TEMPLE that was taken by Muslim forces?
It was Islamicists who started this 'crusade' business in the first place.
Isn't it Islamicists that are still waging a relentless crusade to kill Americans, Christians, Jews, educated women, Brits, Aussies, etc.?
Shabestari: Why do you seek to remove the splinter in your brother's eye when you have a log in your own?
To: jgrubbs
Shabestari, we have this document called the Constitution, and in it there are diffrent sections. Now not to talk over your head, because I know it's a strain for you to think out side the box, we have this little thing in the Constitution called ahhhh, what is it, oh yes, FREEDOM OF SPEECH! How about that. I hope this clears things up for you.
