"Send A Student To Minnesota! DSAs national electoral project this year is the Minnesota Senate Election. Together with YDS, DSAs Youth Section, we are mobilizing to bring young people to Minnesota. Minnesota is one of the few states that allow same day voter registration. We will therefore focus our energy on registering young Minnesotans. Wellstone will need a high percentage of young people to register and vote for him if he is to stave off the campaign that Bush, the Republicans and the Greens are waging against him. He is the Rights Number One electoral target.
Because we are focusing on issue-based voter registration, this electoral work can be supported by tax-deductible contributions. The DSA FUND is soliciting tax-deductible contributions to support this project...."

They don't outright promote "fraud" in their activities. Maybe they'll be like the weathy Park Ave. matron who went to Milwaukee to hand out ciggy-butts to the homeless.
P.S: Wellstone is a target of the Greens?
To: pollwatcher
Yes. There is a leftwing dingbat (not necessarily farther left, just more stupid) than Wellstone running for senate in MN.
To: Eric in the Ozarks
That is why I am becoming a staunch supporter of the green party. They make a great wedge and I'd hate to see them go away :)

"...Because we are focusing on issue-based voter registration, this electoral work can be supported by tax-deductible contributions..." Help finance illegal, perhaps even treasonous, voter fraud AND write it off your taxes!
This will induce involutary orgasms in liberals.

Everyday, I give thanks that Algore is not in the White House (thanks Ralph).

Send Paul a personal note and tell him what you think:

"These are the issues I will focus on in my second AND LAST term serving Minnesota"
Paul "Welfare" Wellstone
US Senator - Welfare Party

To repeat what I pointed out on the other thread:
Minnesota is one of the few states that allow same day voter registration. We will therefore focus our energy on registering young Minnesotans.
I hold no brief for Socialists, but what they're saying is that they need people from across the country to head up to Minnesota to register voters, not to register as voters.

I hold no brief for Socialists, but what they're saying is that they need people from across the country to head up to Minnesota to register voters, not to register as voters. That's what it SAYS. But once the Socialists get there, they'll be able to exploit a loophole in order to vote themselves.
Can I register on election day? If you miss pre-registering, you can still register on election day at your polling place. You will need proof of your identity and the address where you are living on election day. Use one of these for proof...
- A current Minnesota Driver License, learner permit or identification card (or receipt for a new one) with your address
- One of the above with a former address and a utility bill*
- A U.S. passport or military ID card and a utility bill*
- a "Notice of Ineffective Registration" card mailed to you by your county auditor (if you turned in a registration card late)
- someone who is registered in the precinct where you live to vouch for you at the polling place
The last option is their way in.

This whole kerfuffle is based on what is supposedly on the Socialists' website.
Now, when it turns out that no such thing is no their website, it suddenly doesn't matter what their website says, they must be planning on committing fraud anyway?
Sorry, but that's just wrong.

Donate to your local green party whacko today! I would, but there are a couple of these green wackos that won the Democratic nomination and have a decent chance at getting a spot on our already commie city planning board.

The memo was on the DSA website yesterday. Thousands of people have it on their hard drives.
If you watched "Special Report with Brit Hume" you could have seen it on TV.
The DSA is lying to cover its tracks. Don't buy the BS.

I've been to their site and there is a pop up suggesting voting fraud. If you have pop up blocking software you probibly won't see anything.

I guess a wedge is like any tool, you just have to use it when appropriate. Good luck beating them in the general.
To: rmlew
Are you saying they changed it? That it was different than the copy that was twice posted here, and from which I quoted?
To: Sefton
I've been to their site and there is a pop up suggesting voting fraud. If you have pop up blocking software you probibly won't see anything. I do have a pop-up blocker. I'll turn it off and go back there (if I can get through; Drduge's link seems to have really slowed the DSA server).
To: Timesink
someone who is registered in the precinct where you live to vouch for you at the polling place
Bingo. You can do the same thing in Wisconsin. Talk about potential for fraud...

I turned off the popup blocker, went to their site and refreshed several times, and I didn't get a popup.
Maybe they removed it, but I still have to say that I have seen no evidence of intent to commit fraud.

BUMP for a CLOSE RACE in Minnesota - We need to take this senate seat. This is making news on talk radio in Minnesota.
Norm Coleman (R) is an EXCELLENT choice for senate.
To: stndngathwrthistry
What does same-day registration have to do with their campaign if this is an honest organizing effort? It shouldn't matter WHEN they register voters. What is the intent of emphasizing the same-day registration law?
To: PonyTailGuy
You're making a tremendous logical leap.
