It's time to stake out every mosque in the beltway area. Surveillance 24/7. These so-called peaceful folks are getting ready for the Big One.

Why not issue a Glock 23 and 500 rounds of CorBon 40 cal ammo to every US citizen within 3 thousand miles of these mosques, and then ask them to "report" any unusual activity to the police?

Several weeks ago 6-8 Dems. were arrested around Buffalo and charged with terrorism. I haven't heard any one mention it, but among the training they received in Afghanistan was sniper training. Very curious, but not all together suprising that the media has failed to mention this.

Aside from condemning law enforcement agencies for "profiling/targeting" "innocent minorities", there has been absolutely NO reporting and/or connection between this and other reoports involving resident/alien/whatever middle easterners and any act that could remotely be connected with the "T" word. Very curious. NOT! The mass media in the US is a fifth column traitorous organization.

If 1,000's of people go shopping at the Home Depots of DC, SOME of them will park next to a white van. They'll note, get goosebumps. Then they go inside to shop, on coming out 20 minutes latr, they find that somebody's been shot, they remember the white van, note that it's gone (or in the process of leaving), and BINGO--you have an "authentic" white van sighting!

Yes. But. That doesn't necessarily mean that the perp(s) did NOT use white vans. What better way than to ensure cover? If I were to embark upon such an adventure, I would probably select a -- very common -- white van! Beats slinging my AR-15 over the driver's side door of a red Testarossa, 'eh?

IMO, it is "teams" (= "cells") AND yes, we are in grave danger.

Don't want to initiate a sidearm discussion here, but Au Contraire! Glocks is now the preferred semi among firearm instructors (at least here in California). And the single action first round is a plus. Stopping power of the 40 cal is gaining preference over 9mm. IMO, Rugers are OK. :O)

I agree... it is a team. That's the bad news. What worries me is the civilian response when this comes out. There won't be a mosque left standing in two weeks... then it'll be the baptist churches, then catholic, then...... then we have one hell of a mess on our hands.

Civilian response will be slow to boil. That's why it is imperetive that the Federal and State governments get this one right.

I doubt whether they're actually from Spain. More likely they're immigrants from Mexico or of Mexican descent, or from some other Hispanic country.

While there's the possibility this is gang-related, here's four reasons why not: a) it's too sophisticated, b) they wanted to shoot a cop but, when they had a perfect chance, they didn't, c) why shoot 10 people? do they have 10 recruits who need to prove themselves?, d) taking on the cops is one thing, taking on the FBI and the military is another. Wait, make that five reasons: the same street sources that reported they wanted to shoot a cop would have probably reported by now their involvement, and someone from a rival gang would have probably turned them in for the reward already.

While the "swarthiness" of the supposed suspects does increase the possibility this is ME terrorists, there have been "swarthy" serial killers before: http://www.crimelibrary.com/serial_killers/notorious/pedro_lopez/ , the Mexican guy who supposedly killed a lot of boxcar bums, and California's own Juan Corona.

Also, even if this is ME terrorists, it seems a little too nuanced for AQ. More likely it's someone who's from his country's secret police.

Well ... I want to know if they have been doing any checking out the huge Muslim "village" which is somewhere near the shootings in VA. I don't know the exact location of the village, but it's a gated community - in that you cannot just stroll through their streets or anything.
