The Governor should outlaw hunting in school zones and in parking lots, then. I imagine it's already illegal to hunt while riding in a white minivan or panel truck.

The problem with hunters' gunshots is NOT in the areas where citizens will confuse them with the Beltway Sniper.

I'm not sure why this isn't obvious to you.

Folks, aside from hearing this on Fox News (Shepard Smith's show) from Brian Wilson, I have not been able to verify elsewhere. So let's just chill until we hear more. Maybe Brian got it wrong? Did others hear him?

That would only work if Virginia and the Drug Lords of DC banned shooting, too. Besides, the metropolitan area this sniper is shooting in is huge. Fredericksburg, Va. to Montgomery county, Md. is at least 60 miles apart.

Well, I just had another guy tell me there is a problem with too many deer in Montgomery county. So what is it? Either there is no hunting of there is. Do the deer confine themselves to areas where they can be shot at without the residents hearing the guns firing?

Given the way the sniper has reacted to events (no children killed yet --> shot a child, etc) this moron governor has just sentenced at least one resident of those 4 counties to certain death. The sniper won't be able to resist. If that is his plan, I don't think the residents of those 4 counties will appreciate being used as bait. All around, this guy is a freakin' moron.

Guaranteed to attract the sniper! Everytime this murderer is challenged he shows up. In fact the best place for the sniper to get caught is in Maryland, which has a death penalty it is too wimpy to enforce. (The Governor has declared a moratorium on enforcing the death penalty so that the great minds in Annapolis can study its application to see determine if it is "discriminatory.") This also will let Kathleen Kennedy Townsend off the hook when it comes to answering whether she is for or against capital punishment.

This dubiously legal "edict" is the power all DemonRAT liberal office holders dream of aquiring permanently. The Governor's "ban' will conveniently be forgotten to be lifted if the KKT wins the State House. It does nothing and it will do nothing to stop the sniper(s) or anyone else from using firearms in the commission of crimes.
